Daniel Millyard
I’m Daniel, a creative designer and filmmaker with a habit of collecting creative disciplines. I work across graphic design, motion, UI/UX, 3D, animation, film, photography, music and sound, with a particular interest in the spaces where they collide.
I’ve designed brands, built interfaces, made films, animated things, produced music, taught creative practice and occasionally disappeared down a three-week rabbit hole trying to make one tiny detail feel right.
My background in film production, design, technology and education has given me a slightly unusual creative toolkit. I’m interested in ideas first, tools second, and finding the right medium to tell the story.
If it can be designed, filmed, animated, composed or tinkered with, I’m probably interested.
More Than Just a Designer
Warm Circuits is a playable history of analog instruments, from the Minimoog and TR-808 to the Juno-106 and the '90s revival. The look is modern and minimal but borrows from the Roland Juno: cream and charcoal panels, wood side panels, glowing LEDs and the four-colour Juno stripe.
